Sabine Roemer launches her first official collection, Arabian Nights, exclusively at Harrods by Appointment on 6th July 2010.
Sabine’s passion for the exotic and ethnic, the result of a lifetime spent travelling around the globe, is combined in the collection with her love for animals and their folkloristic ornaments. The main inspiration of the collection comes from Sabine’s childhood memories of the fauna that populated the stories of Arabian Nights that her grandmother used to read her.
Arabian Nights consists of 22 intricate one-off sculpted pieces of jewellery.
The hero piece of the collection is the Shahryar Falcon Hood, a black leather falcon hood in 18ct white gold with pave’ diamonds and emeralds. Other main pieces are The Scheherazade Horse Ring in 18ct yellow, black or white gold decorated with white and black diamonds, pink sapphires, green tourmalines, tourmaline briolettes and rough diamonds; the Scherezade Feather Earrings in 18ct white or yellow gold composed of three interchangeable pieces with white pave’ diamonds across; and the Parizade Camel Ring in 18 ct yellow, black or white gold with white pave’ diamonds, rubies, pink tourmaline and green peridots.
Sabine’s first ever collection is an intricate work of art, conveying a feeling of history and romance, a true celebration of the magic of fine jewellery.
